, a reporter of CNN addresses the issue that people should quit
spending the whole day on smartphones. This article begins to describe
an advantage of smartphones, and then quickly notes the disadvantages.
Next, the article states that smartphones make human lives more
convenient, but people look like zombies as they focus on their phone
all day even if they walk on the street. After that, the author goes on
to say the bills’ problem, which costs lots of money by using
smartphones and gives an example. The example shows that the father who
cancels the Internet for the smartphone of his family throws the
financial pressures away. Furthermore, the article notes another problem
is that people stop communicating with people by face to face, while
they use smartphone to connect. This not a great way for maintain
people’s society. Finally, the author acknowledges that people should
keep smartphone away except for emergency.
In conclusion, using smartphone not only beneficial but
also harmful. I agree that if we keep using smartphone, it is not a good
thing to do every day. Also, people should start to quit this addiction
and they need to communicate by face to face. Nevertheless, the author
fails addresses how people can change their habits and what benefits
would people get if they had fixed their behavior. However, I disagree
that people should keep their smartphone away because smartphones help
people not only in work but also in life. Consequently, people could
keep using smartphone, but they shouldn’t depend on it too much.
I agree with Amu's point that people need to use smartphones not only for their work, but also in their social life. The author indicates about using smartphones. Also, he mention about the advantage and disadvantage of people who using smartphones. However, I disagree with the author when he said that people should keep their smartphones away!!
